Regarding its crushing ratio the crushing technology of a twin roll crusher was no longer able to compete with alternative crushers like jaw crusher, cone crusher or impact crusher. This has changed with the invention of modern crushing technology. The process-related benefits of a twin roll crusher are continuously optimized in combination with the strongly increased crushing ratio. The CST double roll crushers are offering considerable benefits in the production process and are serving as a more efficient alternative to former crushers.

Compared to the sizers known on the market, the CST crusher can achieve twice the size reduction ratio of comparable size.

A crusher for all applications

In times of rising energy prices it is of growing importance to optimize energy intensive processing operations. The entire drive of the CST series twin roll crusher is produced reaching a high degree of efficiency and at the same time having large reserve capacities.

Blockages are automatically removed by an intelligent drive control. The double roll crusher is designed in a way that reversing operation of the rolls with extremely high starting torque is possible from standstill. Foreign bodies that cannot be crushed are automatically released from the crushing area. This is done by means of the hydraulic gap adjustment which opens and closes the crushing gap within a few seconds and is able to move into any crushing gap.

The combination of all above mentioned functional units help the operator to cope with different demands due to various characteristics of the feed material and to ensure interruption-free production times.
